Tiffany Hembry is the Founder and CEO of Freedom’s Place, Inc. She currently serves as the Board of Trustee President for 2020-2022. Tiffany is a Licensed Master Social Worker who currently works as a School Based Mental Health Therapist in the Baltimore City School District. Tiffany enjoys helping people create budgets/monthly spending plans, supporting others through tough times, traveling, and reading. Tiffany created Freedom’s Place to give young people a safe and healthy space to receive assistance with discovering their authentic self in this journey of life.
KAREN GERALD UPSHAW
Karen Gerald Upshaw currently serves as The Board of Trustee Vice President for 2020-2022. Karen is a Taxpayer Service Representative for the State of New Jersey particularly The Property Tax Unit. Karen has a passion for loving people especially babies and senior citizens. Living by the model, if I can help somebody then my living is not in vain. In Karen's spare time, she has a passion for baking and serves as Sole Proprietor of Kakes by Karen. Because of Karen's desire to help others, Freedom's Place would be a catalyst for young adults to become all that God called and created them to be in a space where there is no judgment.
BELETIAH WHEAGAR
Beletiah Wheagar currently serves as the Board of Trustee Secretary for 2020-2022. Beletiah is a Licensed Master Social Worker who currently works in Child Welfare as a Treatment Foster Care Social Worker. Beletiah demonstrates her passion through advocacy, and enjoys assisting others with self care. During her spare time, Beletiah enjoys reading, painting, and exploring culinary cuisines. Beletiah believes in Freedom’s Place mission to holistically support young adults to independent adulthood.
